This is an intensive workshop that introduces
students to the methods used in traditional painting.
All stages of the creative process will be
explained including photographing the subject, colour design,
drawing and all painting stages. In the first week students
will work on a figure painting and in the second will complete
a self portrait. The focus is figurative but this process
can be used with all subject matter from still life to landscape.
In addition, students will receive individual and group critiques
and lectures on materials and processes.

Reservations are recommended as student numbers are purposely
limited to allow for a high degree of individual attention.
